Plantarium Vials - Test Tube Plants

Plantarium Vials are life-giving ecosystems in which seeds germinate. The colourful gel's transparency makes the seedling and its roots visible throughout the entire germination and plant growth process.

How do Plantariums work?

Plantarium Vials work as a mini-greenhouse after the seeds are germinated in a dark room. Once a seed has grown to the top of the gel, the Plantarium Vial is moved to a bright spot so the seedlings can thrive. When the seedlings reach the top of the vial or container, the plant can be transplanted into soil to complete its growth. The kits are recommended for ages 6 and up and complete instructions are enclosed.

Twelve different Plantarium Vials to choose from!

The Plantariums single vials are packaged individually in a delightful gift-box with the plant identified on top. Twelve popular and easy to grow plants are available including Aloe, Basil, Busy Lizzie, Marigold, Carnation, Liquorice, Melon, Eggplant, Pepper, Tomato, Sage and Sunflower.

Once you have planted the seeds, immediately close the culture container with the plastic cover. Put your PLANTARIUM in a dark place with an environmental temperature of about 70° - 80° Fahrenheit for 2 to 3 weeks.
