This Cowboy Riding Break Experience for Two sees you enjoying a couple of days away in the tranquillity of the New Forest. This includes a ones night stay in Bashley House on the southern edge of the forest. Just a short walk from the 'local' Rising Sun Inn and the stables where your sturdy steed will be waiting to take you on your journey. You may well spy herds of deer not to mention the other inhabitants of the calm woodlands.

Beginners and more experienced riders are welcome with paces to suit all abilities. There are many places of interest to visit, places to eat and other activities to enjoy locally. This Riding Break is based on two people sharing a double room en-suite with continental breakfast at Bashley House or a similar graded B&B close to the stables. The break includes a two 2-hour rides in western saddle for novice riders or traditional saddle for riders who are able to trot or canter. Please note there are no ride gallops or jumps.

When can you go?
This experience is available on selected dates, throughout the year (excluding Bank Holidays and July and August weekends).

How long does the activity last?
Your experience is for one night's stay.

What you need to know
The minimum age is 12 years, however under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult. The maximum weight is 95kg (15 stone). This activity is suitable for beginners as well as seasoned riders. It isn’t suitable for pregnant women. If you’re disabled you will need to have a medical certificate. Clients sign a registration certificate. You will be asked to fill in a registration and acceptance form on the day.

You and how many others?
There will be a maximum of ten other riders with you both on the day.

Family and friends
You are welcome to bring friends and family to watch you, however there will be a charge.

We cannot control the weather
Do not worry, this activity isn’t dependent on weather conditions
