Discover the Sport of Kings with a visit to the gallops, a tour of the trainer's stables and even entrance to the Members' enclosure for an afternoon at the races. Accompanied by a racing professional, you'll have explained the aspects of racing including following form and placing your all important bets.

This full day programme includes a morning visit to a trainer's stable, a trip to the gallops to see the horses at exercise and of course, entrance to the members' enclosure for an afternoon at the races. You're accompanied by a racing professional throughout, explaining all aspects of racing. It could turn out to be a profitable day! Please note that transfers from the trainer's stable to the racecourse isn’t included and will involve a drive of anything from 15 to 60 minutes

When can you go?
Selected race days (excluding the big race meetings), varies according to location but generally April to October.

How long does this activity last?
Your horse racing day will typically last for a full day.

What you need to know
To participate in this activity you must be at least 17 years old.
You will need to be reasonably fit as some walking is involved.
No experience or qualifications are necessary to take part in this activity. You will be asked to sign a risk awareness form on arrival.

You and how many others?
There'll be a maximum of 24 other people in your group.

Family and friends
Sorry, you can't bring family and friends along to watch you do this activity.

We cannot control the weather
This activity is dependent on appropriate weather conditions
