First Drive - Driving Experience Gift

For those who can’t wait until their 17th Birthday to get behind a wheel of a car bring you the perfect solution. The First Drive driving experience is an exciting yet safe way to learn to drive in a specially designated area. You'll take control of the car on a safe area by the circuit where you'll receive tuition in starting, stopping and changing gear. Depending on location you may also have a classroom session covering basic roadcraft and car controls trying out the simulated urban road layout.

When can you go?
Selected Monday to Sunday dates, March to November.

How long does the activity last?
Your first drive experience will last about 2 to 3 hours, with about 30 to 40 minutes driving time.

What you need to know
Minimum age is 12 years old, however this varies according to venue, please check on booking. The maximum weight is 102kg (16 stone). The maximum height is 1.9m (6ft 3), the minimum height is 1.47m (4ft 10). This activity isn’t suitable for those who suffer from epilepsy or any physical disability. If in doubt please consult your doctor. No experience or qualifications are necessary to take part in this activity.

You and how many others?
Driving is on a one to one basis but the car is shared with other voucher holders on the day.
