Roboreptile

Roboreptile is the newest Robot Dinosaur from the genius Mark Tilden at Wowwee! Roboreptile is slimmer than Roboraptor and far more mobile. Roboreptile can turn around, move quickly from place to place, hop and jump. Roboreptile includes audio, visual, and touch sensitivity, so it will hear and see you.

The touch sensor on Roboreptile's back allows it to respond to human interaction by performing a short animation. The sharp sonic sensors enables Roboreptile to detect sharp loud sounds which it will run towards. Roboreptile's vision sensors enable it to detect movement and avoid obstacles. The robot will ship with its own toy to chase around, but will not have a remote control. Roboreptile has 4 different moods to accentuate its personality: ferocious, aggressive, passive and tamed.

Roboreptile uses realistic biomorphic motion and advanced natural dynamics for movement.

Roboreptile has the ability to run at high speeds on four legs, but then can switch over to a slower bipedal movement for other situations. It uses IR and sonic sensors to prevent reckless running. It can be fully programmed to perform a variety of actions.

Roboreptile's default state is hungry, aggressive and active! It will start exploring his environment, attacking, roaring or moving away from anything it sees or hears. Be careful: this reptile knows how to bite! It will respond to a sound or movement by either letting out a big roar, or performing a pre-entered program.
Using the direct control function, you can take command over the toy and have it perform actions such as snapping, running, jumping and whipping its tail. In the program mode you can program the robot to perform a series of 20 different movements or animations. In guard mode it will protect the area from unwanted visitors.

Roboreptile is fully functional right out of the box.

Agility - Much more nimble than the Roboraptor, the Roboreptile can jump & hop, turn very quickly, and is rumored to be able to stand up on its rear legs.

Programmable - Although details are not available yet, WowWee has stated that it will be fully programmable like its other toy robots.

Interaction - Comes with several small toys that it can recognized and chase around.

Personality/Moods - The Roboreptile will have 4 different moods to accentuate its personality; ferocious, aggressive, passive and tamed. The Roboraptor has 3.

Sensors - It will have sound, touch, and visual sensors.

Cowl Accessory - The Roboreptile's cowl is used to calm it down when it becomes too aggressive.
