About the wine

Italian Pinot Grigio

A refreshingly dry, light and easy drinking Pinot Grigio bursting with flavours and aromas of peach and crisp apples. Medium bodied with lemony hints and a well rounded finish. Enjoy on its own or perfect with pasta and all fish dishes.

Vin de Pays Wine

This crisp dry white wine from the sunny vineyards of southern France is made using a blend of Maccabeu & Vermentino grapes which are cold fermented to preserve the fresh lemony aromas and apple acidity. The result is a fresh crisp white wine which is ideal with fish, salads, poultry and cold buffets or as an apperitif. Vin de Pays winemakers must use specific grape varieties suggested by a “Conseil Interprofessionnel” (joint committee of professionals). These wines are analyzed, tasted and eventually approved. and accepted as “Vin de Pays”.

Appellation Contrôllée Wine

The Minervois is an Appellation Contrôlée area set in beautiful, rugged countryside north of the towns of Carcassonne and Narbonne in Southern France. The resulting white wine is dry and crisp with a perfect balance of fruit and acidity. Lightly chilled, it can accompany white meat dishes, poultry, fish and seafood. Appellation Controllee Classification wines are of the highest quality. They are strictly ruled according to methods of growing and producing, localization, grape-variety, minimum contents of alcohol, etc. All these wines are analyzed and tasted.

• Papers from 1991 are larger and will not always fit in the gift pack. If the paper is too large we will send your wine or spirit in a single silk lined gift box and the paper in a light blue gift box.
