Driving a hovercraft is like driving a car with four flat tyres on ice! After a safety briefing to familiarise you with the craft, you will be taken out individually and shown the controls and driving techniques needed. You then get the chance, under the supervision of an instructor, to take the controls. Depending on weather conditions the activity may take place on mud, sea or sand.

This experience is available on selected dates, throughout the year.
How long does the activity last?
Your activity lasts approximately 3 hours at the venue (roughly 45 minutes at the controls).
You need to know
To participate in this activity you must be at least 12 years old.
You will need to have general fitness and be able bodied to take part in this experience.
There are no qualifications or experience required.
You and how many others?
There'll be a maximum of seven other people in your group.
Family and friends
You're welcome to bring family and friends along to watch you.
