Microlighting Flying Gift Experience

Our instructors will give you a thorough briefing and then take you on a trial flying lesson. We are sure you will end up as enthusiastic as they are.

You have a detailed briefing from your instructor, including how to use dual controls, how to enter the aircraft and the all important pre-take off checks. You then take to the sky, climbing to up to 1500 feet above ground level in a flexwing (open cockpit) or fixed wing (closed cockpit - similar to a mini plane) aircraft (please state preference at time of booking). The instructor will demonstrate the controls and then, if the instructor is happy, the controls are passed to you. See you up there!

When can you go?
Selected Monday to Sunday dates, which vary depending on the venue, all year.

How long does the activity last?
Your total experience will last for approximately 1 hour, with 20 to 30 minutes in the microlight.

What you need to know
You must be at least 16 years old to participate in this activity.
Max weight 89-105kg (14-16½ stone) depending on the location. Max height 1.95m. This may not be suitable if you suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, heart disease or diabetes.
You do not need any flying experience to enjoy this flight.

It'll be just you and the pilot.

Family and friends
You're welcome to bring along family and friends to watch your flight.
