Military Vehicle Driving Experience - Half Day

This military vehicle driving experience lets you drive a massive piece of military hardware not worrying how muddy things get. After registration you're transported to the driving area by military vehicle while the pre-instruction and safety briefing on military vehicle driving is carried out. Depending on your chosen location you can experience driving:

An Armoured Personnel Carrier, a Chieftain Main Battle Tank, an Abbot Tank, Stalwart 6 Wheel Drive, 250cc Honda Quad Bikes, Snowcat, Sultan command vehicle, an American Humvee, a Pinzgauer 6 wheel drive all terrain troop carrier, a Bedford MJ 4x4 truck and a 4x4 Land Rover. You'll spend approximately 10 minutes in each vehicle driving over unforgiving terrain. Programmes, vehicles and timings will vary slightly depending on your location. When can you go?
Selected Monday to Sunday dates depending on the location, March to November.

How long does the activity last?
Your heavy duty experience will last for about 3 to 4 hours.

What you need to know
To participate in this activity you must be at least 18 years old, maximum age is 75 years. The minimum height 1.42m (4ft 8), the maximum height is 1.98m (6ft 6). The maximum weight is 102kg (16 stone). You'll need a degree of flexibility, as some of the vehicles are tricky to get into. You do not need any experience to enjoy this activity.

You and how many others?
They'll be a maximum of 19 other people in the group.

Family and friends
You may be able to take spectators along with you to watch depending on the chosen venue. Some sites do charge a spectator fee on the day.

We cant control the weather
This activity is dependent on appropriate weather conditions
