About our Wine

Italian Merlot Wine

A deliciously smooth, medium bodied wine jam-packed with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits. The palate shows hints of vanilla spice and cherries, well balanced and easy drinking. it’s great with steaks, spicy dishes and mature cheeses.

Vin de Pays Wine

This soft fruity red wine from the sunny vineyards of southern France is a wine with a ripe red fruit flavour and smooth finish, ideal for drinking with a wide variety of food dishes or equally on its own.

There are about 150 different Vin de Pays appellations in France for each area of origin. Winemakers must use specific grape varieties suggested by a “Conseil Interprofessionnel” (joint committee of professionals). All wines are analyzed, tasted and eventually approved. and accepted as “Vin de Pays”. These wines are increasingly popular, better quality than Vin de Table and perfect for daily-drinking wines.

Appellation Contrôllée Wine

Made from our best cuvées of this vintage, this Côtes du Rhône “Gentilhomme” has been aged in large oak barrels called “foudres” in our ancient cellars. This ageing in barrels results in aromas of vanilla, cocoa, spices and leather and is best served at room temperature with provincial cuisine, red meat and cheeses.

Appellation Controllee wines are of the highest quality, made to strict rules covering methods of growing and producing, localization, grape-variety, minimum contents of alcohol, etc. All these wines are analyzed and tasted.

• All Newspapers sent will be a genuine original and complete newspaper (not a copy) from the date you select (Sunday dates not available, please choose the day before or the day after). Each newspaper comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
• Papers from 1991 are larger and will not always fit in the gift pack. If the paper is too large we will send your wine or spirit in a single silk lined gift box and the paper in a light blue gift box.
