Ever felt that initial adrenaline rush and then complete fear when sliding out of control? How about the overwhelming satisfaction of taking command of your vehicle and steering your way out of trouble? Well, this experience has it all! It unleashes the thrill of skidding and sliding, whilst instilling you with the knowledge and confidence to make you a better driver. It’s one of the most enjoyable learning experiences you’ll ever have, at one of the world's most renowned driving venue!
After a welcome you will be given an introduction to the various types of skid situations by your instructor. You will learn how to anticipate skid conditions and more importantly, how to get out of them. After some demonstrations from your instructor you and the other members of your group will take it in turns recovering and avoiding skids. You will be driving a specially modified Audi A4 skid car, which can replicate different forms of skids by electronically shifting the weight distribution of the car. We are confident that you will leave Silverstone a better, safer driver. What's more this is the only driving experience you can take at Silverstone if you've only just taken your driving test.

This experience is available on selected weekdays and limited weekend dates, throughout the year.
You will spend approximately 2½ hours at the venue, with approximately 30 minutes behind the wheel.
The minimum age to participate in this activity is 17 years old.
The minimum height is 1.57m (5ft 2"). The maximum height is 2m (6ft 7"). The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone). This experience is not suitable for those who are pregnant or suffer from epilepsy or a heart condition.
You must hold a full, valid driving licence, which will need to be presented on the day.
There will be up to 11 other participants in your group.
You are welcome to bring spectators to watch.
